I'm intrigued with the idea of pernambuco for back and sides. I've only had it in small pieces and used it for decoration but I imagine from the texture and density of it it would make a fine tonewood. I guess, with it being listed on cites appendix II that it's pretty hard to come by these days.

The neck and headstock is carved from a one piece slab of curly mahogany.

Walrus, I am trying to wait patiently for my build spot to come around sometime next year. It will be a lefty Pernambuco JB of some sort. That's about as far as I've gotten with the specs. Your build thread is definitely not making the wait any easier!!! It certainly looks like you're getting a killer guitar, and I'm very interested in hearing about the Adi/Pernie combo. I really love the burst finish you decided to go with also. Just an all around beautiful guitar, that I'm sure will deliver the tone that Sexauer guitars are known for. Enjoy!!!
