Gretsch "The Fred"

I'm trying to find out more about this old acoustic guitar. The model # is 3009.
Any pointers to where I might find more info would be appreciated. Thank you!

I don't think it's actually called "The Fred". It's just the way the label says The Fred Gretsch Mfg Co.

thanks for the quick reply. Sorry, I thought "the Fred" was the model, but I was mis-reading the label - where it says "The Fred GRETSCH Mfg. Co." Based on the info I found at the Gretsch site, it looks like it was made in 1962.
