Repair recommendations Texas
Howdy y'all!!!
Seriously though, my 7th-grade (youngest) daughter and I acquired a really great guitar for her: a 10-yr-old solid rosewood and spruce Guild from China that she can enjoy without the pressure of ding worries. The sound, action, neck and appointments are all ideal; however the back has a 6" crack and there is an almost-invisible bridge crack that runs through the line defined by the pin holes. The price was very, very right, cheap enough to become its own project. She's played it quite a lot the past few months without any coaxing at all. The cracks haven't moved but I can't wait forever since she has very clearly bonded with it. Frankly I have too. This is a nice enough guitar to easily take her through college. So: I can drop this guitar off for repairs in DFW, Houston or Austin. Given those parameters, who would y'all recommend?
