I've watched probably over a hundred videos featuring Greg. I've also seen him play and the Koch-Marshall Trio play live and met him. And I actually made him laugh.
Me: "Greg, it's a pleasure to meet you. I love your playing."
Greg: "Hey, thanks!"
Me: "And I want you to know you're an inspiration to me. Listening to you, you've inspired me to quit playing guitar."
Greg laughed.
He's an amazing talent and has a wonderful personality.
Allegedly, he has an acoustic album coming out soon.

I saw him at a Reverend road show. He is ridiculously impressive as a guitarist and an engaging person. Incredibly talented.

I wonder how much Koch makes on endorsements/ videos/ promotions/ appearances/ etc. Basically, everything that excludes touring or music sales.

I'm blown away that he can play guitar after guitar for Wildwood and find something unique to say about each one and throw in some remarkably high quality comedy as well.

GK is amazing - great salesman, incredible, incredible guitarist and extremely funny off the cuff. What a trifecta.

I would like to catch his act live. Manchester Music Mall ? I'll have to check that place out.

His humor can border on being like Robin Williams, but at least he can turn it off when not on camera performing.

Have listened to excerpts from his recorded works and was less impressed, not with his playing but with the music itself. Probably have to give them a few listens.
Manchester Music Mill .... my favorite shop in New England

Greg’s been in and around trade shows for many, many years. I guess I’ll swim upstream on this one but it’s very difficult for me to sit through his youtube posts and all of his solo demos. Too frenetic and honestly lighting fast wanking doesn’t do much for me.

BUT.......put him in a live band scenario and he’s simply one of the greatest guitar players on Earth. In those situations I could listen endlessly.

This is the first thing I heard by him, reminds me of my (late) buddy Sean Costello.

Thoughtful, gnarly playing.
