Thank you, that melody has certainly stood the test of time. For real contrast hear Marty Robbins vs Johnny Cash doing it!!

Beautiful playing, beautiful tone from your Walker! The sonorous basses along with the balanced round trebles blend together perfectly, hats off. Wish I had a guitar like that!

Playing that well means you have lost your "Haole" status.

Really nice Fran. I love the tone of the OM.

I'm going to try that tuning one of these days.

I was attempting to record tonight also, but I ran into that fumble fingered guy that looks just like me so I ended up doing mic comparisons instead.
6 "takes" isn't bad at all, believe me.

Ah, Lahaina - I'll take that as a very nice compliment. Haven't been in years but every minute we were there was some kind of special. I hope you get back in body soon. Hey, I hope _I_ get back soon.

Aloha, Rick! Hey, with this mug I'm always gonna be haole, but I'm OK with it. My Hawaiian friends put up with me, what more can I ask. All the best,

Fran

Oh, Barry, I think I know just the guy you mean, except he looks a little different - same fingers though.

Aloha, Russell, seeing your guitar list reminds me I need to get the Yamamoto down and enjoy it's voice again.

Look forward to hearing your ki ho`alu.
