Hey All,

I'll toss one in that has not been mentioned.

I luv the sound of these 6973 tubes. When I find one I'll buy it. I try before I buy.

I second that! It’s my main amp and it’s incredible for my needs. However, it does depend on what your rig is and what you are going for.

This. The closest second I have played is the green channel on a Bogner XTC.

If you really want true clean, though, you need to listen to a JC-120. Not tube, but an iconic clean sound.

I bought a Bugerra V22 a few years ago and was amazed at how well it sounds, it’s versatility and it’s price. If you need more power there are other variations. It’s tough to beat.

You guys are sleeping on the Monoprice amp I posted a while ago. It's also an amazing pedal platform as well.

I love mine. The effects insert is particularly nice with a delay pedal. It puts the preamp distortion before the effect as it should be.
