Taylor W14c
Hi everyone,
Due to some life stuff, the amount of free time I have to make music over the past several years has diminished greatly; since it's unlikely to change (and I'm not getting any younger ), I've decided to finally sell off some gear. When I'd previously downsized (thanks to a couple of close-together moves a few years back), these had each fallen into the "lifer" category, and I'm really struggling to let them go. But times change and sometimes priorities must, too. For starters, all three have never left our smoke-free home (except for two trips in my car for the aforementioned moves) and have been properly hydrated and wiped down after each use. As always, I'm open to offers, questions, and/or comments. Also, if you'd like to see any other photos, let me know and I'm happy to take some. Thanks for looking! --- Taylor W14c - 1998 - $1,450 shipped (US only) *SOLD* I picked this one up used in 2010. As you'd expect from a Taylor, it plays like a dream, and with 20 years under it's belt, it sounds magnificent - the cedar top and walnut back/sides are an outstanding combination. The original Taylor pink velvet hard shell case is included. It's in outstanding shape, with one exception - along the neck, there are "bubbles/discoloration" in the finish (I don't know what else to call them), on either side. I've included pictures so you can see for yourself what it is. When I received the guitar back in 2010, I was initially bothered because the prior seller hadn't disclosed the issue; however, my local tech said there was nothing wrong with the guitar other than the looks, and combined with the fact it sounded so great, I decided I was fine with it. The eight years of delightful tone it's given me have never caused me to regret that decision.

Due to an upcoming surgery (old hip injury that finally gave out due to my love of running), I'm dropping the price significantly in hopes of a quick sale.
Southwest, down near Grand Rapids.

Mighty nice Classic Taylor!
Wish I could...
Best on the surgery! Heal fast and get back to the stuff you love. This should move FAST at this price, I wager. Cheers Paul

Great guitar. I am sure it really sings. The cedar top is magnificent. I bought a 416ce Walnut/Cedar ltd a couple years ago and can attest to the great quality of the sound in this wood combo. Hope you get more action on this guitar than you have had. Good luck with the surgery!

Can you (or anyone reading this) tell me if the W14c is standard scale or short scale?
