Default It helps to have a sound engineer

Always good to have some extra eyes and ears on the screen:

She just loves when things move, couldn't get her to move out of the way so I could see :-)

I'd be tempted to call her a second engineer but she's clearly taken over the big chair. Good luck. I loved my studio cat, Oreo. He could be counted upon to keep the guitar cases warm. R.I.P.

You are never alone with a studio cat.

Smile Cats

Love this thread. I live with three of my own furry sound engineers and they bring me so much joy.

One must have priorities, and yours are in the right place.

Sorry to hear about Oreo. My studio buddy of 20 years, Seamus, passed two years ago this month. Things haven't been the same...

Glad people are enjoying the thread, I had a moment of guilt after posting about pulling AGF into the world of cats on the internet :-)

Sorry about Oreo, Bob, that's a beautiful cat.

I lost my original studio buddy about a year ago now, the brother of the girl in my original post. He was my near constant companion, but he was a "people person", not interested in technology, more in making sure I couldn't get anything done other than paying attention to him. His sister has all the engineering skills.

Eggnog in his element, laying on the keyboard:

It's amazing how they know the best way to get in the way... and stay there.

Mine fancies himself to be my drum tech. My wife tells me one of his favorite hiding spots is under the 16" floor tom.

My cats are not so well behaved. They insist on walking over the keyboard at critical moments.
