Default (SOLD) Santa Cruz OM-42 Cocobolo & Bearclaw Italian Mint Condition

Hi All,

I am selling my 2015 Santa Cruz OM-42 in mint condition. This guitar is pure candy for someone who has some space in their collection! An astonishing guitar that would cost over $10K today, it has an upgraded Bearclaw Italian top, straight grained Cocobolo, and style 42 appointments. I am offering the guitar at $SOLD [/COLOR]+ fees. Amazingly less than 60% of original purchase price! Please contact me [email protected] or 919-514-0452 if interested!

Below are the specifications provided by Santa Cruz and the previous owner:

This guitar has no wear or blemishes. Its tone is everything you could ever ask for in a guitar. The bass is rich but crisp (not muddy at all), the response is immediate, and the trebles ring out beautifully. It is perfectly balanced with an abundance but not overpowering overtones. For me, the OM guitar buck stops with SCGC, especially when it involves higher end woods like Italian spruces and cocobolo. I have owned OMs from Martin (Authentic), Huss and Dalton, Collings and Hooper. This surpasses each of them in terms of tone, playability, fit/finish, wood quality and overall aesthetic.

Current retail for a 42 style Italian/cocobolo is >$10k. I am offering this SOLD. The guitar is in Raleigh, NC if anyone is able to visit me locally!

-Bearclaw Italian Spruce Top (UPGRADE)
-Straight Grained Cocobolo (UPGRADE)
-42 style Abalone Rosette and purfling (UPGRADE)
-Adirondack Bracing
-Hot Hide Glue construction
-Body binding ivoroid w/ side purfle
-1 3/4 nut width
-Ivroid bound ebony fingerboard and headscock with ebony veneer. Ivroid binding has black purfling highlights as well, which is an upgrade.
-Ebony bridge pins w/abalone dots
-Nickle open back Waverly tuners
-Standard black Ameritage SCGC issued case that is in mint condition

Might be the nicest set of Coco I’ve ever seen.

Default Straight grained COCO

Yes indeed! I've had quite a few Coco guitars it's my favorite back wood. This one is quite special. The straight grain!

Also the nicest coco I've seen. Seen way too many coco resaw cuts on the slab for grain drama. This is a nice musical instrument cut.

Hi there - Would definitely prefer a straight sell. I've been very greedy and now have way too many guitars. BUT feel free to tempt me with a trade. Send me a PM! =)

I believe I have played this actual guitar when it was in the hands of its previous owner. It was a nice example of a SCGC Cocobolo OM. GLWS.
