Default SOLD - Huss & Dalton custom 00

I bought this lovely little guitar (with a warm full tone) from Dream Guitars about 5 years ago as a touring guitar and still love it. I am selling because I have since bought a custom made guitar for myself and I hardly play the H&D. I bought it new where it was in mint condition and have taken extremely good care of it. If it's not still "mint," it sure is close as it is in excellent condition!

It has had some tweaking from master luthier Bill Tippin over the years and is so easy to play.

PRICE DROP from $4500!!!
$3500 - Guitar with Ameritage case included!!!

NOW $3000!!!!!!!!!!!! plus PayPal & shipping fees (please inquire)

And if anyone is interested, I will throw in an LR Baggs M-1 pickup.

Description and specs below:
A completely custom short scale Huss & Dalton 00. This one sports 3 dimensional Koa bindings on the body, neck and headstock. The gold Waverly tuners also have Koa buttons. Then the rosette ties it together with figured Koa bands surrounding a single strand of herringbone. The fingerboard was left blank so that the eye of the beholder is not distracted from the rich Red Cedar top and Ebony board. The body is Indian Rosewood and the voice is strong and full. This guitar produces a lot of sound for it's small body and the tone is sumptuous.

"One of the very best Huss & Dalton's I've played. The notes are big and warm. I love the simple beauty of this guitar and the use of Koa appointments makes it shine naturally. The short 24.75" scale is super playable make this a real fingerstyle sweetheart." - Paul Heumiller

"This is a beautiful instrument. The wood combination makes it very elegant yet the styling is still fairly simple. The tone is pure and clean." - Al Petteway

Boy, that's a gorgeous guitar! I'm a huge fan of H&D 00s best guitar they make. And they seem to have made that one especially pretty! Love the touches of koa on it. I bet that's a gorgeous sounding guitar. Did Paul and Al do an audio clip for it?

Default Price drop

I have reduced the price on this lovely H&D to $3000 for a final sale. If there's no interest I will resort to Ebay or selling locally. I hope a true lovely of H&D's & 00's will be able to find a home for this one. Also throwing in an LR Baggs M1 pickup if anyone is interested.

Beautiful. How would you describe the neck profile?

It's semi-wide, I've heard it described as a "soft V." That mixed with the short scale make it feel easy to play but not feel like a toy (like many thin necks tend to often feel like).

Beautiful guitar. Just what I'm looking for. If only a partial trade was needed. Good luck with your sale.
