Arrow FS: 2014 Huss & Dalton CM Non-Cutaway (Sold)

-SOLD-

Pictures [https://www.flickr.com/photos/skchur...645566811443/]

I purchased this Huss & Dalton CM Non-Cutaway in March 2014 from Heartbreaker Guitars and have been the only owner. I have played this guitar quite minimally (there is only some light wear from using a pick, otherwise it in excellent condition). It has been kept in its case and stored in a humidified environment. The top (Engelmann Spruce) and back/side (Indian Rosewood) are stunning. The CM fits nicely between a Dreadnaught and and a 00 or a OM. The guitar has very good volume and projection and is a finger pickers dream–It picks up every nuance of your playing for a very responsive to a light touch, but if you wanna dig in it stands up to any Dreadnaught for flat picking and/or strumming (I use a pick myself). Excellent note separation and enduring sustain. Most definitely full bodied sound. You will get "depth" as opposed to the "lightness" of say a crossroads, parlor, or a OM model. I am selling it because although I have fallen in love with the CM form Huss & Dalton, I want to purchase the 12-fret version (I am a sucker for 12-fret guitars).
  • I have been the only owner of this guitar, and taken great care of it--it only has some light wear from using a pick, otherwise it's in excellent condition
  • Kept in its case when not in use and stored in a humidified environment (45-50% humidity)
  • Original hard case included

*I will only sell and ship within the Continental United States--please do not ask for international shipping. I am more than happy to answer any questions about this item--I love talking about guitars. I am not interested in a trade, sorry.

Hi Bix58,

Great questions. I'm in Broomfield, CO. It's a standard CM Non-Cutaway, matching the dimensions and specs here:

http://www.hussanddalton.com/models.html#cmnoncut

So it is the standard scale length for this model 25.4 with a 1-3/4" nut width. It's a very comfortable guitar, and I think lives up to its reputation as a "smaller dreadnought."

Cheers,
Scott

Scott,

Thanks for the quick reply. This might work. I'm driving through Denver in 2 weeks to spend the rest of the summer at our house in Telluride.

Please send me a PM w/ your direct contact info...

Thanks.

Wow, Scott, that is gorgeous! The rosewood patterns are lovely. I can only imagine how good the 12-fretter will be. Hope it works out for Bix… that looks like a steal.

These are amazing guitars. I had one and sold it with a cutaway. I've been looking for one in mahogany since then.

Regarding the 14 vs 12 fret, there's a great comparison online. Plus you get to hear how terrific these CM's really are:

Good luck on the sale!
