A suggest for a cutaway acoustic guitar.

Hallo everyone , I'm looking for this kind of guitar , with a good relation between price and quality . Unfortunately I've not more than 600/700 euros-dollars , but I hope in a breakthrough with my actual Fender CD-100 ( that it seems to me not so bad for its price ...). I mostly play Travis style and folk , and anyway the thing more important for me is the playability and the stock low action ; I guess that in the brands of acoustic guitars may be some difference in this sense (I think , to the PRS for the electrics , for example… ) , though of course almost everything is in the hands of player . Integrated pick-up is welcome , but not really fundamental . Thank you

I thank you , but too much shipping cost for Italy , bad customs experience . I'm looking for something I can find in Europe .

Are Tanglewood guitars similar to what you are looking for? It's a British (MIC) guitar though so you may get a different kind of customs experience.

Look at the newer Alvarez models available over here in the States; don't know if you can get them in Italy...

They make a couple models that are just wonderful, especially for the money.

As far as the low action goes? ANY good guitar can be set-up to play the way you want it to... nice to have a low action, I know, but the downside is that playing just a little bit more firmly will create buzzing on the frets... there's no way around that, it's what we call the Law of Diminishing Returns over here - or at least I call it that!

700 euros is more like $1700 US, right? A bit over double? That's a good amount of money to spend, and you should find many choices... although it may take some traveling to get ot them!

I really thank everyone for your inputs . Anyway I heard about the better playability referred to the stock low action of some brands of electric guitars ,without prejudice to the fact that a low action imply a possible buzz and less sustain ; evidently it's not the same for acoustic guitars .More ,I'd like to avoid as much as possible luthiers , here in Italy very expensive and very often not god enough.

The “Swiss army knife” of guitars in that price range, knowing that the Euro is about $1.12, give you about $800 usd, try to find a Taylor 114.

For me I would go the Furch route ,Furch blue series is in you bracket the GA is a good bet , and in Europe .....

Sigma makes some awfully nice guitars that are available in Europe, but not in the US. They are priced well and the ones I have heard sound really good.

Try the Yamaha FGX800C. An acoustic/electric cut away. My bandmates all like to play it and it sounds good unplugged as well. It goes for around $300 USD on Amazon and is one of the favorites in my collection. Good luck with your search. Remember, play anything in your price range.
