Default Hiscox 000/OM Pro-II case (One more time…)

Well…I thought I had a deal to buy a used Hiscox case from another AGF member, but I guess that deal fell through.

SO…I’m again looking for a used Hiscox 000/OM Pro-II case in gently-used to pristine condition. I am looking for a black one in particular.

I’ll pay up to $300 shipped to Missouri.

What guitar are you hoping to put in it?

I have a Hiscox Jumbo case that was meant for a J-200 (17" lower bout) but these spacer paddings from Access would more than likely secure a smaller guitar - to a point. I've heard Hiscox sells spacers themselves; you might shoot them an email and ask at what point too much spacing defeats the protection purposes.

I would call my case pretty pristine but it is white. Only had one trip to a gig and one trip as an airplane carry-on before covid hit.

Thanks for the response, but I really am looking for a black case. I don't want to have to "baby" the case, and don't want it to have opportunity to look bad immediately from scuffing and bumping.

I'd be putting either a Collings or Martin OM in the case...but, I have contacted Hiscox on more than one occasion about other things, and have gotten no response from them whatsoever. They have either closed due to the pandemic...or they just don't look at their emails.

FWIW, in the past I've seen Hiscox praised for customer service but at some point in the past weeks months I came across info that they either shut down or seriously cut back production for the pandemic.

Good luck finding what you need. My Collings OM2HT would definitely need padding if I wanted to carry it in the Hiscox. The color is a bit of a white whale but OTOH it's really noticeable if someone is walking off with your guitar.

I have a black Hiscox Liteflite Artist case with green interior that my Bown OMX came in. I might be willing to sell it. It's in excellent condition.

There is a Carlton case at what appears to be a very good price on Craigslist DC this morning. It says it was for a Taylor Grand Auditorium. I don’t know the seller, but if it’s of interest and I can help in any way, send me an email.
