Man that does suck. To all of those who treasure our dogs there's not much worse and you have my thoughts on this. Hopefully time will bring another great friend into your life but not too soon. Best of luck.

Here's a song I wrote and recorded at home a long time ago. It's called "Farewell Good Companion", and it's a pretty sad song but one I had to write. I hope it's not too sad for you.

The loss of my 4 legged family members has been harder to take than the loss of some of my 2 legged relatives. They love unconditionally, are steadfastly loyal, and often smarter than our neighbors.
