Better question: Which guitar sounds like THIS? (more)
Key is sounding closest to a grand piano.
Preferably by someone/somewhere in Southern California I can physically try out? Update: I did locate a Walter Verreydt 2021 from Siccas. Across the pond, as they say... That sound is what I'm looking for! Last edited by 91709jack; 09-13-2021 at 10:32 AM. Reason: Change of question |

Some of his videos show him playing guitars by Walter Verreydt
Not sure if this is one of them or not.

Hey THANKS, fitness1. I believe you nailed it, hoping to get confirmation from Andrea himself. Initial searches - all overseas!!!

Both guitars in the video are mic'd so differently that in person they *could* sound nearly identical, no way to tell. 91709jack, articulate trebles and mids with firm bass is what you seem to be wanting. Your search might not have to be laser focussed, because a combo of strings and saddle material may very well get you close to, or even exactly, where you want to be. One thing you may want to avoid is a guitar with an enveloping, warm bass.
