Hmm. I'll see what's up when I get home. My work email filters the nowhereradio page.

Thanks Chris.

This should work with WMP now. If it doesn't, you're not missing anything.

Thumbs up Counterpoint to Lennon and McCartney's Here There and Everywhere

Sage97,
Yes, yes, yes !
I haven't heard something this good in a while.
Your voice is exceptional.
Tell me a little bit about the arrangement.

Wow! Thanks for the compliment.

The arrangement is from Jose Mari Chan, a Filipino singer/songwriter who was famous (and I think still is) in the Philippines. He started writing and performing commercially in the 70s and was still doing very well in the early 90s. I left the country around that time so I haven't heard any of his new ones. I understand that he still writes soft pop love song type compositions for other performers.

This counterpoint is one of his big hits but unfortunately that's all I know about it. Try singing to the original tune while listening. They both go very well.

I'm not much of a singer, but I did hum the melody along with it.
BTW, I've send you private message.

Hey Kyle.

Where have you been?

I'm no good with rock vocals and we were rocking! We should definitely do it again soon! Give me a call when you get back home.

kyle,

In Your Eyes is great. A nice addition to your site.

I wish I could hit high notes like that.

Great job

Chris,

I'll take that as a big compliment. David Gates (the Bread guy) and other mellow 70s vocalists (Christopher Cross, Paul simon, JT, etc.) were favorites of mine. I grew up in the 80s but when I was a lot younger (mid to late 70s) my older female cousins were my babysitters. They taught me to appreciate romantic ballads. Even in the 80s when I was more into Motley Crue and Skid Row, the 70s love songs still had a special place in my heart.

Bobby,
Great catchy song. I like it very much.
Don't lie to me, you are a Neil Young fan.
