One thing I take away from all these learned comments is that’s not possible to take one instance of one instrument and magically know what adjustments can be made that will produce a superior tone.

You can change the frequency of the box and make no difference to the quality of tone.

If you build several similar guitars you’ll discover what thickness of bracing/top you need that work best for that design. Otherwise, pot luck.
