Default Wheels (a great old Chet tune)

I always loved this tune so I sat down and gave it a flog. Played on my Darren Hippner "Torres" model classical. Just ignore the mistakes, I meant to do them....

The Hippner is a great guitar (better than me), it even sounds good on a Sony Handycam!

Thanks, I love the tune as well. It captures what I always loved the most about Chet's playing.

Nice little pickin' tune. Well done on one of Chet's finest.

Jimmy that was some fine picking. Interesting choice of guitar for this kind of piece, really gives the song a personality all it's own.

Very nice job on a great Chet tune! I remember hearing this song when I was a kid. Great job on this song Jimmy.

Hey Gary,
"Wheels" is an interesting tune. Chet recorded it a bunch of times over his career. The first version (I think) was done on electric guitar and is a little too "elevator" for me. The way I play it is similar to a live version from the 1980's where Chet plays it on classical guitar with Marcel Dadi playing great fills behind him.
