Why not? It will be a commissioned instrument after all. Give them a call.

My guess is no, both from the marketing angle where they’ve made a point of first year exclusivity and from the technical aspect where I suspect they’re probably making tweaks for the various tone wood combos. If it were a one size fits all proposition and if they believe in it as whole heartedly as they profess, I think it would have been more of a watershed announcement at NAMM.

Any BTO = Yes

The entire Bachman Turner Overdrive catalog just cries out for V-bracing. . .

Based on my experience with ordering a TON of BTO stuff with Taylor - anything from the Tecate factory will not be eligible for the V-class bracing (or any other BTO mods, either).

Anything 300 and up will be eligible for that, however.

Wait six months and V Class bracing will be in BTO catalog.

Thanks for the follow-up, Horse. Is it available on the BTO upper level Taylors?

If history is any guide, probably not for at least a year. You can't even order a 914 right now with V-class. Only 914ce.

Interesting... Is the traditional X-bracing an option on the 914ce or must the 2018 914ce be ordered with V-class bracing?
