I have a Santa Cruz I Bought 1982, a Merrill OM 28 and Brondel A2, but at the three hour gig last night I used my Northwood L00.

With a K&K Western Trinity, I went straight into the P.A. and played three sets.

John McQuarrie is building the best bang for the buck. A similar guitar from SCGC would probably cost 7k. I paid $3500.

Jump on this guitar. You will be rewarded with a superb nstrument.

Appreciating the affirmation from some of the AGF elders.

Bumping up a guitar that changed my life.

I came into the acoustic guitar world cold about five years ago. I played sports growing up and all I knew was that my old Taylor 310ce had sounded a whole lot better than the used Epiphone my grandmother bought me.

Since then I've pretty well immersed myself in AGF and Reverb online, and reinforced that experience by visiting a bunch of guitar stores, like Acoustic Music Works (Pittsburgh), Rudy's (NYC), Dream Guitars (North Carolina), the Martin factory in Nazareth, and the local Sam Ash and Guitar Centers.

After getting back in the saddle and starting with a Larrivee L-03R, then a Larrivee OM-05, then this Northwood 000 on the acoustic side, and adding a student-level classical and a Heritage 535 to round out my team. This whole journey has truly been transformational for me. I mainly play fingerstyle to relax after tough days at work (most every day) and to put my daughter to sleep at night. Tackling a running back or executing a single-leg takedown don't really work so well at my age on the relaxation or family time front.

I'm not a particularly sentimental person, so I'm able to part with this Northwood after moving to the 00. What this journey has and continues to mean for me, is pretty amazing. I'm grateful to the AGF community.

One way I can say thank you is by passing an amazing guitar at a relatively manageable price (lower than I paid for it) on to the next person.

Passing-it-on bump.

Merry Monday night bump. Merry continuing to generate interest bump. Merry Christmas Eve eve bump. Merry Eagles beat the Cowboys bump. Merry Cocobolo and Engelmann are a pretty awesome combination bump. Merry amusing bumps will hopefully end soon because someone buys and keeps this amazing guitar, but who knows, we'll see how long I can keep this up bump.

Extra bumpalicious bump for a superb guitar that will make someone very, very happy for half the price of a "name your builder" sorta boutique but really worked on by lots of people, not to say they are not excellent guitars...but not as consistantly excellent as John's.
