Default CEO-7 Replacement Tuners

Looking to replace the original tuners on my CEO-7. I’d like to put on Waverlys but I could use a recommendation as to which ones will require the least modifications.

Open to other tuner suggestions as well.

Thank you,

How

This may help. I may suggest the Gotoh instead of the Waverly, merely based on the idea that they are not $100 better.

I went with the Gotoh tuners on mine and I am very happy with the results.

(I wrote a previous post and the forum ate it. Grrrr. *sigh* Why does it log me out while I’m composing a message?)

These fit for me on my CEO7:
Waverly Nickel 3L/3R Ivoroid knobs, Stewmac item # 4065

I made the change because the original G string tuner felt stiffer than the others.
Also, I like the looks of plain nickel better than the original “aged” look.

The mounting holes are off by maybe a half millimeter so you have to start both screws and go back and forth to get them fully seated.

Hope this helps, _Roger

Re: forum kicking you off…
When you log in via your computer or laptop (not sure about mobile) there is a box you can check that says something like “Keep Me Logged In”. Check that and it won’t boot you out. And when you do log out, you will be logged out so you’ll have to check the box again when you log in. Hope that helps.
Now, back to the subject at hand.
Best,
Jayne
