Many members here that I've never met but whom I consider friends. This is definitely a community, not just a forum. Lots of knowledge and kindness shared, and those aren't things to be taken for granted, especially on the Internet.

I was thinking of this in terms of the La Conner Guitar Festival. I'll bet there were at least a dozen active AGF members there, and there was a thread started on it in the sub-forun on events, and it probably would have been easy to put a jam together near the venue. We should definitely look into something next year.

I'd be willing to help with logistics if someone comes forth who would like to lead a jam. It would be fun to make it an all-accoustic, the more the merrier type of event.

A bit late to the party, here. But I just want to echo what everyone else has said. A great forum, a supportive and knowledgeable community, a great place to share ones passions for guitars and music.

I also have to add that there are some really funny people on this forum.

By far, my favorite corner of the webiverse.

What a cool story. Most guitar forums seem to be... less than hospitable climates, especially for people who are learning. This one is great though
