Wow, Fernando Tatis Jr. got hurt swinging at a pitch and now has a partially dislocated shoulder. Great start to his $340 M contract.

After a great 6 year run winning three championships I’m a crestfallen Giants fan that just wants them to be competitive again....like any true Giants fan I despise the Dodgers and resent their recent dominance of the NL west...

Giants fan here too. Hoping for better things and I am liking the approach they are taking overall. Renewed my MLB.com audio again and am up late listening to Miller, Flemming and the gang. Hoping for a couple more taters tonite off Darvish. Oh and it wouldn’t be baseball if we didn’t have the Dodgers to hate (don’t tell me there is no room for hate in this house when there are Dodgers out there!).

The Angels and Astros just spilt their two game series.
The fans gave it to them. Trashcan like objects on the field etc. etc. There were Dodger fans at the Angel game giving it to the Astros as well. This could be a very long year for the Astros now with fans at the game. |

Big Dodger fan here and it’s all good when the Giant fans are hatin’!
Giants are gonna have a good year if they don’t finish in the cellar. Scott |

Nice win for The Giants today. Not sure how I feel about the new rule starting extra innings with a man on 2nd. Worked out today, but ...

Jeff, I did not realize what a baseball fan you are. I am ambivalent, but my wife is a huge O’s fan, and used to go to all the Angels games when she was a teen-ager in Orange, CA.
Even though I don’t watch baseball on TV except for the World Series, we will probably get tickets to the O’s vs Angels in Anaheim so we can take her nephew to a live ball game. He is a huge baseball fan and good high school player, but lost his HS season to the pandemic. Hope all is well in the mid-Atlantic. I miss the sessions with you, Alan, and the others.

All is well. Going to Alan’s tomorrow to play on his screened in porch for the 2nd time. Got our shots n healthy. Miss having you here. Come visit! A favorite baseball memory is taking one of my godsons to a Frederick Keys game when he was 6. He wanted to get an autograph from The San Diego Chicken.

Martinez is off to a great start for the Red Sox. Good sign. The team has settled down after that disastrous opening 3 game series against the Orioles.
How about Cy Young winner Bieber - he has 24 strike outs in only 12.1 innings ... and he's 0-1. |

Musgrove throws Padres first no-hitter last night! Only active MLB that didn't have one. 53 years in the making.
What teams/players are you following? |

I'm always looking for the Padres to conclude the season saying THIS WAS OUR YEAR....FINALLY.
My alternate team this summer is Atlanta. If the Padres don't make it all the way I'd be very happy to see Atlanta win it all.

I am born and raised in LA.
I have been an Angel fan from the first year. When I was 7 they shared a stadium with the LA Dodgers. My older, by 11 months, brother Joe got dibs on the Dodgers. In a similar sibling conundrum brother Joe (at 8) chose The Beatles. I chose The Beach Boys. My dad brought us to buy our first 45. Mine was Help Me Ronda and the awesome B side. Don't worry Baby. He got into drums and me the guitar. |

Some great players on those teams, Tippy. I remember the fear that the Ryan express brought when ya’ll were on East-coast swings.

Red Sox 9 game winning streak is over. I have no idea how they put that together after looking so dismal in their first 3 games.
