Dance with Me - Orleans
You're Still the One - Orleans

I'm on the Orleans kick right now. Not sure my guitar teacher will be impressed with my progress though when I see him today.

Finally figured out a decent arrangement for Jobim’s “Wave”. Nice tune... Stumped me for a couple of weeks trying to find one melody note.

I also just got my Cigar-box mandola put back together after re-doing it to a large extent and I’m fooling with some old fiddle tunes I have mostly forgotten....

Working on "Statesboro Blues" and Feeling Bad Blues (Ry Cooder). Previous was "I Walk The Line", "My Dog and Me " (Hiatt), "Can't Find My Way Home" and a lap steel version of "Little Martha." Working on a Lap version of "Salt of the Earth" now.

Red face Last songs learned

Since I am a 60's solo gigging Acoustic Artist, I have found that the audiences seem to love songs I would not play in the mid to late 60's. Neil Sedaka, Paul Anka, Bobby Darin, etc. Played Beatles Bee Gees, Who, Rolling Stones, British Invasion, etc.

Latest one is Del Shannon "Little Town Flirt" Me and the Beat Buddy can get the crowd going with " Here she comes,, With that look in her eye, she is foolin around with every guy that goes bye,,,"""

Also BJ Thomas,,,The eyes of a NY Woman

So if you sing and play these old 60's are really good crowd pleasers
