Can't see my position markers
One of the guitars I own has black side dots against a darkish wood fretboard binding. Great guitar but it trips me up occasionally - I can't see them!
I'm leery of slapping some white paint on there as its one of the pricier guitars I own. Any elegant solutions or creative ideas? Or do I just put a dab of white paint on there? |

Might use a water based paint, easy enough to remove later without damage.

also, you can buy dots for this or use white-out or painters tape.

Cut out little dots or diamonds from a blank address label and stick them on over the black dots?

One of the local classical guitar professors in my area requires his students to not have side dots on the fretboard. A student brought one of my guitars in for him to look at and give his judgement and he was not aloud to use it because of the 7th fret dot LOL.
Anyway they found a drop of white out worked quite well and was easy enough to remove for inspection time |
