Acoustic open mics are on again in Methuen, MA!
I'll be running one this Sunday, June 6, 12:30-3:30, then starting June 23, every other Wednesday evening, 6:30-9:30.
Sign-up sheet goes out half an hour before the start time. I've had 3 Sunday open mics so far this year, big turn out - 25 sign-ups last time, although not all stuck around the whole time. Muddy Waters Pub & Restaurant 940 Riverside Drive Methuen, MA 01844

Great news, Mike. I wish we were a little closer. Maybe I'll see if the wife wants to make the trip on Sunday. Wednesdays would not be doable for us. How have you been handling mics? Do people bring their own? What's the rules for masks and general social distancing down there?

I've been doing open mics since mid-January here in the DFW (Texas) area. I never went prior to that simply because I didn't have any songs to sing then.
One place uses "mic condoms" (when he remembers). Only one or two people have brought their own mics. Participation has been picking up a lot, though. I think the most I've seen is 20 people. Last edited by Acousticado; 06-03-2021 at 08:09 PM.
