Default What Pickup is Marty Stuart Using Here (Please See Video)

I don't like acoustic pickups, period, although I realize they are often a necessary evil. In this video with Ricky Skaggs, Marty Stuart's Martin sounds dang good. Does anyone happen to know what kind of pickups he uses on his guitars (as opposed to mandolins)?

Looks and sounds like they're playing against a pre-recorded track to me.

It looks to me as though he doubled the guitar track after the fact. I can't see a cord or a mic that would pick that up that well if at all.
