Default Dawn pro audio array speakers

Played a new to me amp at my local shop today. Dawn pro audio column array speakers on stands like a fishman soloamp. http://www.dawnproaudio.com/products.html

I pulled a Taylor 214ce QMDeluxe w ES2 just like mine. Pretty decent sound and affordable at $199 for the T-50, & $299 for the T-100. Not quite my Ultrasound DS4 or ag 30) but nice for the money. 3 channels. 2 xlr or 1/4 inch and one 1/8 inch for ipod etc. the T-100 carried the sound pretty far as a shop guy demo'd it for me. I may have to get the T-50. Nice affordable little package. Would like to try a pre/eq in front of it.

Really interesting products but quite a missed opportunity considering they could've made the T100 and T50 battery Powerball to compete with the Laney 4x4 - would be real helpful for a busker like myself!

T50 tower looks like the Kustom PA50 / Powerwerks speaker.

The 1 Amazon review for the T50 says its basically the same as the Kustom, but looks a little better - for twice the price. If the $199 included the sub, then it would be a good deal!

No sub is a no-go for me. The Fender system was on sale for $399 - complete- when I bought it. I would wait for something like that, with sub, to be on sale.

Good tip on the Kustom! Looks like you need a stand for another $40?

I have the same Powerwerks unit - 100 watt tower with the sub. Love it. Great sound. I feed it with a mixer. I also purchased a second Tower unit and connected the link for an addition 100 watts - but up to this point, I really haven't needed it.

I just looked. I think this is the same unit, only in a new shell. The address listed for support is the exact same - 3015 Kustom Drive, Hebron, KY.

However after looking at several videos, looks like they upgraded a few things. The tweeter for one, which was probably the weakest link. If you read some Powerwerks reviews, you will see where some people mention replacing them. The second upgrade must be the lower weight with the hard, plastic shell incloseure as opposed to the wood of the Powerwerks.

The sub isn't a chest thumping unit, but for acoustic guitar and vocals, it fills out the sound nicely.

I often use my unit as a stand alone (small, quite indoors) or with the sub (outdoor, high volume).
