How about “minikin” as in the word defined as

“A small or dainty creature or object”.

Inlay this design on the headstock and call it a 'Minitar'

A five five is small indeed. I appreciate your remarks as always

This name is descriptive but too long for such a small guitar.

derringer is a possibility for sure especially if we stick for BIG GUN for yours.

Mini-me?

Wait, that was done already.

Sprout?

Lil' Sprout, or might that be too much. Maybe as a name for a ukulele. Naming things is so hard. We need more inspiration, like pictures of wood being caressed into pleasing shapes.

Well ok , that was for for fun. I like the irony of smaller notes equates to more syllables. Plus it’s fun to say.

This said, I am attracted to a name that is not overly literal or jokey. This is a serious instrument, will make statements in it’s unique voice and needs emotional resonance around that distinct identity. I like something like “lily”. Small, fragile at a glance, but more than that... beautiful, and more than that, producing beauty in a corner of the field where nothing else can bloom.

Akin

Dual meaning:
akin means of similar character (similar to the full size Kinnairds)
A for the tuning, Kin for Kinnaird

Joe Veillette calls his Terz guitar Terzilla. It's available in 6 or 12 strings. Also tuned to A.
