Default Opinions on Martin GPC-16E (koa back & sides)

Has anyone here played the Martin GPC-16E with koa back and sides? It's the 2017 version with the silver-ish binding.

There's a special offer on them at the moment, and I'm wondering whether the sound and construction is good.

I realise that sound is very subjective, but my concern is that it might sound anaemic or boxy because of the thinner profile.
