Default Show your telecasters with humbuckers!

Just like the title says show a picture or video of your telecaster with Humbuckers! My “telecaster” is made in Korea by PureSalem guitars. It is a mahogany body and neck with locking tuners:

I don't have one myself, but Google "Ed Bickert" and prepare to be amazed.

I purchased a G&L Classic Bluesboy a few years ago and replaced the neck p/u with a Kent Armstrong hand-wound humbucker. Original owner had replaced the bridge p/u with a Dimarzio Chopper T (dual rail humbucker). Interesting combo to say the least.

While I would never claim to sound like him before or after the p/u swap, Ed Bickert was very much in the forefront of my mind when I purchased this guitar.

I only play this guitar through the neck p/u but have the comfort knowing that the Chopper T is always waiting in the wings, should I ever need it!

Funny thing is, Bickert didn't sound all that different before he swapped in the humbucker.

How about a Tele-ish?

That's a 1996 Carvin TL60T. Maple through-neck, ebony fretboard with 24 frets, alder body wings, individually split-able humbuckers, arm and belly bevels. The final "T" in the name denotes the Wilkinson trem, which is really nice. I've got my Roland hex synth pickup mounted on it and it lives at the studio for quick access. I call it my "swiss army electric" because it will do so much.

Hey Bob, I wouldn't call that "Tele-ish" . Beautiful guitar though. I've never had the opportunity to play a Carvin (or a Kiesel) but it's always been high on my list, especially the single cut "Les Paul-ish" guitars.

Nice playing - love that jazz.

I wish I could post a picture of the Squier Telecaster Deluxe, Joe Trohman signature with 2 humbuckers and one middle single coil - superstrat in disguise, includes large cbs strat headstock, 12” radius neck, true 1 11/16” nut. My example has perfect flatsawn low profile maple neck with cathedral v centred down the back, thick slab dark rosewood fretboard. Resonates unplugged - a special one.

Thanks. I own six Suhrs...these are just two of the HB-equipped Teles. They are IMHO the finest F-style guitars being made right now. Tom Anderson stuff is right up there too but I’ve fallen for Suhr.
