Far better to sound like a drummer, or at least have that mindset. On bass, what the notes are counts for a lot less than where they are and how they feel.

Started out on bass originally and still love playing it whenever I get the chance. The three remaining basses I have are all super short scale Ibanez Mikro and two medium scale basses I brought back from Japan. One Fender and one Yamaha.
