Man that looks nice Kev! We’ve mainly got smokey skies here along the front range. I hear it’s from the NM and Az fires.

Where the deer and the antelope play…

That’s a good looking parcel to enjoy that sky, Kevin.

My better half and I are looking to relocate in the very near future, in large part for reasons which cannot be discussed on this forum, and I'll have to admit it looks tempting - as long as you're just down the road with the heavy equipment to plow us out when those ten-foot snows come...

Yes about a month ago it even made up here causing a haze over the Winds but was only for about 4 or 5 days

Years back a local DJ would call them "A ruby dazzler"

Certainly not saying not to consider it ....(And you may already know this ) . BUT Just a note of caution , because every place has compromises and unforeseen consequence's of one kind or the other. Not the least of which for many is the winter here. But be aware in Wyoming there is an undercurrent of dislike towards " feriners and "flatlanders" from the coasts "invading to settle " ..... particularly towards Californian '"beautiful people" , and New York accents ..... juss sayin'

Similar shot from Feb. But the sky is still blue

Speaking of equipment, my wife did just get a new tractor this winter (60 HP Massey Ferguson) So she is a pretty happy camper and my skidsteer in the background

Massey did it right by parking the wiper blade at the bottom like that. One of my pet peeves with Deere, they park the blade on the left side of he windshield, right in the field of view.
Those loader arms on your wife's tractor sure do mount high, interesting.
I would love to see that tractor with cream colored wheels.

Humm my skid steer is like that no doubt because because the hinges are on the left side for right side entry and the windshield is much taller than wide,, so it can only really be on one side or the other . But it's not really an issue I guess because I sit much closer to windshield than in a tractor ?

As for the loader arms hadn't really noticed them being particularly high (at least compared the the New Hollands we used to have )
Here are the New Hollands we used to have. One poor design feature IMO on her's (closest one) is the fender does not have enough clearance to the tire, which meant we had to remove a fender brace (that stuck down even further ) in order to get the chains on

Darn KevW, there wasn't much clearance there. I love the New Holland blue AND cream colored wheels, yaaaayyy! LOL

Reminds me somewhat of good old #43 Petty Blue.

Beautiful photos Kevin! We have had some lovely blue-sky days here starting just this last week, also. Until this last week the weather had been so rainy and cold you couldn't even see the sky.

Nice rain all day yesterday and into the night. Woke up this morning and was surprised to see a fresh dusting of snow on Mt. Princeton (el. 14200).

Took a Western US tour a few years ago which started in South Dakota and ran through Wyoming. Nice country. The tour guide told us a cute story. Seems there was this old man living in Wyoming on the Wyoming/South Dakota border. Because of some zoning change the border changed and he found himself now living in South Dakota. When he was told of the change his response was, "Thank God. I don't think I could take another Wyoming winter."

Doubt it's true but it got a laugh.
