Yes sir, you will indeed. I should have it in a little over a week.

The details, Steve even made mesquite buttons for this one. You can see how they start out with the one extra block and then the end result.

Beautiful guitar! Tom, it was a cool design-vision, and Steve and Ryan really nailed it. What a special instrument! Dave

Congratulations on a beautiful guitar. I found it hard to decide on what was the most interesting aspect of this one, I think that for me, the rosette and the matching, glowing tail wedge, as well as the sapwood laden bridge. Well done!.

So pretty - now it needs to be played! Fine craftsmanship is a joy to behold.

Congratulations Tom!

This has been such an entertaining build thread and the final guitar is beautiful. I hope you enjoy it for many years to come.

Tom, congratulations on a stunning (no surprise there) guitar. Very tasteful. The mesquite looks amazing. I bet it sounds great too.

That bridge wood selection, sapwood alignment & cut is just perfect.

I will for sure, you are not too far away from having you OWN build in your hands. That is so exciting.

Thank you, that may be it for me also since that was a scrap of wood I had left over from a shelf I made and it was too pretty to throw away. Never in my wildest dreams did I think it would end up on my guitar!

Thanks Rick, it is likely to be a couple of weeks yet due to schedules.

Thank you very much. Ryan had a hard time categorizing it as it seems to have characteristics of a lot of different families. In the end he thought maybe closest to ebony.

Thanks, I picked out that bridge block specifically because of the sapwood. It would not be to everyone's tastes so I really appreciate you pointing it out and liking it!

Alas it is time
To give up the rhyme
And all of the words
From thundering herds
Of the guitar nerds
Praising what they see
Creativity
In wood from Texas.
Should it perplex us
The top’s made of spruce?
No, we can deduce
With time it’s been tried
And like Tom, Texified
