Default You Don't Really Know Me...

But I will ask anyway.

For your prayers, good vibes, whatever positivity you wish to send my way. I cannot be proud at this point.

It was confirmed to me today that I have an aggressive form of cancer.

I am gut punched. I can hardly catch my breath.

I am angry, sad, a bit overwhelmed.

I have not put my problems out there to burden others in the past. I feel strange to do it now.

But I need all the help I can get.

Thanks.

I feel for you Paddy.
I too had cancer, though caught early.

Hang in there, and kudos to you for reaching out for support.
That's not easy for some of us.
Like you, it took cancer for me to swallow my pride, face mortality, and reach out to others.
If I can say so, the humbling experience has made me more compassionate and human.

Paddy--sending my support, and everything else you asked for. Angry, sad and overwhelmed sounds perfectly normal, and asking for help is the right thing to do.

Sending Mojo. Cancer runs strongly in my family (both my parents have had at least one form, and my brother was taken at 55 by cancer), but every day brings a lot of new discoveries, treatments, and even cures. I know your journey over the next months and years will be difficult, but hope you find the strength you need to face it with strength, grace, and heck - even humor, if you can find it. Best wishes on the road ahead.

Prayers sent...

Prayers for you and your loved ones. The turmoil of raw emotions is overwhelming. Blessed be.

Thoughts and prayers, Paddy. The C-word is so devastating.

Making lemonade out of lemons: at least you have some remaining time to spend with loved ones and appreciate every single day. As someone who has also faced life-changing medical issues, there is no greater gift than tomorrow.

Wishing you the very best Paddy. It is scary, but the medical community has a better understanding of the disease these days. Remain hopeful and positive.

Hi Paddy, as Chicago Sandy said to me in 2017, "welcome to the club that no-one wants to join"

I'm so sorry to hears this news - and now you have a fight on your hands. Obviously my thoughts are with and for you.

My best message to you is ... fight, fight and fight. We are with you,
