Best Case Humidifier?
Keeping my round hole flattops humidified is easy enough but what is the best way to keep an F hole arch top properly humidifed in it's case? A case unit? The Dampit kind of thing stuck in the F hole? My daughter in law plays stand up bass and uses a large version of the Dampit product. I have an Eastman AR 805 coming my way and need to be educated!

My luthier recommended the Daddario Humidipak for all of my guitars. It comes with three paks, one goes under the headstock and the other goes in the sound hole. For my Godin 5th Avenue I place the second one between the guitar body and the neck rest area. They really work well for me. My nylon string La Patrie was really dry and starting to dish in and the humidpaks took care of the problem.

I ordered Boveda gel packs from Amazon. I am not exactly sure, but this may be the same or similar to the Planet Waves Humidipaks.
I put 2 to 3 gel packs in each case for my move to Denver. I'll post an update in a month or two.

I use the Boveda packs and when it's really dry, I also keep a music nomad sound hole humidifier with the sponge to keep the packs from drying out too quickly.

Thanks for the help & suggestions. I will likely try the humidipak and Dampit as well & monitor the result. Still have a while before I need to worry about dry winter air.
