Arrow "Anticipation"- A prelude to "Adirondack Love": 12 string original

Hi folks.....I've added to this post today (9/4)....thank you for all your kind comments on" Adirondack Love" which I posted here earlier........."Anticipation" is a short tune which I developed to partner with the piece as a part of the wedding day described below.
this is from the archives...........

Some years ago, I was asked to play for my nephew's wedding which was an outdoors affair on a beautiful lake in the Adirondacks.
For the occasion I put together a variety of original songs which were played that day and then put into a CD for them as a remembrance of the day.
The the "down the aisle" tune was, Adirondack Love. It was a short walk to the alter......and as I played it live that day needed to carefully pace it in order to finish just as they stepped to their special spot for the ceremony.....a bit tricky!
Just ahead of their walk to the alter, the wedding party moved briskly down the path.......So, "Anticipation" was created for this as a kind of prelude to Adirondack Love.

so, here ya go:

Hope you enjoy!
Fred

Wow Fred!

That sounds really lovely! I really like the added reverb you've got on the recording!

What a sweet sounding 12-string!

Does that have a capo on it, raising the pitch?

Very cool! Thanks for sharing that!

Hi Glenn!! Thank you so much! Yes, as I think back, I believe this is a capo 2 set-up. There was a lot of angst on the wedding day that I could keep things in tune as I transitioned to the capo for that tune......very cold day to start, as it turned out and I warmed up a LOT ! It all turned out pretty well.

Glad you like the reverb.........I just dropped this pre-set in and thought it worked well for this tune. Usually I dicker a bit and adjust from that pre-set, but that setting is just straight forward in my DAW (Adverb is the reverb program).
I really appreciate you taking a listen Glenn!!
Hope you are doing well.
Fred

Hi Fred,

You are so good with that 12 string! (and, of course, with the 6 strings!).
I love your music, you always manage to surprise me with your chord changes.

Larry
