R.I.P. Legendary Guitar Tech Alan Rogan
I just found out about Alan Rogan's recent passing. In addition to being Pete Townsend's guitar tech for 40 years, Alan also worked with George Harrison, Ronnie Wood, Keith Richards, Joe Walsh, Tom Petty, Graham Nash, Angus Young and Eric Clapton.

I met Alan many years ago at Frank Lucido’s shop in Santa Barbara. I came in with an original ES 295 I purchased from Pearl herein Bakersfield. I think I traded it in on a ‘62 ES 335. Rogan had on a shirt that said The Who. I asked him if he was with a band. He smiled and said yes. Nice guy.
