Default Guitars in stock - July 2019

Sponsors (luthiers/builders/manufacturers), what guitars do you currently have in stock for sale or available from a dealer?

(Note: Sponsors only, please. I'll unstick this thread every month and start a new one to keep things fresh.)

Hey guys, you can always find some of the guitars we have on sale on our website here: https://www.thegoldeneraguitar.com/guitars

However, not everything we have is up there as some guitars are up for private sale - such as Olson, Kim Walker and Traugott. Feel free to drop us an e-mail at [email protected] for any enquiries

Meanwhile, here are a couple of guitars that we are particularly fond of in the shop:

1. [New] Keystone MD German "Moon"/Brazilian Rosewood - $11,000
Due to the nature of the wood, I would be open to hand delivering this guitar so fret not about it being an overseas sale!

https://www.thegoldeneraguitar.com/keystone-mod-d

This guitar looks and sounds absolutely incredible. Keisuke's workmanship is top notch with some really cool features such as his 3D contour, 3D cutaway and 3D rosette. The pricing is also very reasonable for a Brazilian Rosewood guitar.

2. [New] Tom Sands Model S Italian/Fiddleback Mahogany - $13,000

This guitar comes with upgraded Robson Tuners, and really epic engraved copper "Penrosette" inlays! Tom's waitlist is several years out currently so this is a great opportunity to get his guitar new. He also manages to coax a huge sound out of this small body.

Guitar is completed but awaiting professional photos from Tom.

I have several guitars in the shop right now, but I thought I would highlight two that I had with me at Vancouver International Guitar Festival last month. Please message me if you'd like to know anything about the guitars.

the first is a brand new model for me, the rb-00. A mid size guitar which I am really loving the sound and feel of. This first one is...

myrtle wood(or laurel here in the bay area) back and sides
Sitka spruce top
Spanish cedar neck
ebony bridge, fretboard and headstock veneer

$4500

The second is a Mahogany bodied parlor with an engelmann spruce top and ebony bridge, fretboard and headplate veneer.

$3,500

(please ecuse my looking real awkward in the video...)

Default PRS Private Stock Alex Lifeson Thinline Signature Acoustic Guitar, Brazilian Rosewood

PRS Private Stock Alex Lifeson Thinline Signature Acoustic Guitar, Brazilian Rosewood & European Bearclaw Spruce - Pre-Owned- £11,450.00

This absolutely staggering PRS Private Stock Alex Lifeson Thinline Signature electro-acoustic guitar in Brazilian Rosewood and European Bearclaw Spruce is a truly incredible representation of the very best that Paul Reed Smith and his team have to offer in regards to woods, workmanship and sheer love of the craft.
It's hard to start talking about this instrument without first mentioning the magnificent detailing across the entire guitar; from the iconic Paua 'Birds in Flight' soaring across the fretboard to the gorgeous Curly Maple and Paua/Black Purfling and beautifully embellished Gotoh Tuning Pegs, this guitar really does stop at nothing to be the most eye catching guitar in the room.
Once you start playing the guitar however, this seems to all but melt away as the sound is equally as captivating as the instrument's aesthetic splendour.
The combination of the Brazilian Rosewood back and sides and European Bearclaw Spruce top makes for an unbelievably clear and articulate tone, with a glassy top-end and warm, full lows, it really is a full frequency treat.
The marginally thinner body size on this particular model gives you an exceptionally comfortable experience playing the guitar, and in tandem with the lovely Wide neck carve and Venetian Cutaway the whole guitar sits and speaks easily with minimum effort to coax out huge, luscious sounds.
This guitar comes to us in unbelievably clean condition and with all relevant CITES paperwork in its Ameritage Acoustic Hardcase.
