Cool Arts of the Mountain Festival

Hey folks! I will be playing at the Arts of the Mountain Festival, this coming Saturday, June 22, from 1 pm - 2:45 pm... playing with my sister, doing a set with her and a set solo.

My sis does pretty much folky stuff, very similar to what she was doing in 1965, with a few newer additions... it's her gig, so I'll be supporting her, as well as doing a set of my own.

We're in the Silver Lake Grange Hall, five miles up the Spirit Lake Highway, SR 504; the Silver Lake Grange is the first of two stops for the Festival.

If any of our Washington State members are out and about, it would be terrific to have you drop by!

Should be fun... the music is not the focal point of the event, but we're gonna shine anyway!

Playing in an old Grange Hall; high ceilings and wood floors, great acoustics! Nice to not have to plug in...

Had a wonderful time, playing and singing with my big Sis... we sounded pretty good together; even the old harmonies came back into form!

Nice little gathering of artisans and artists, too... a wide variety of hand-made merchandise.

There's already talk of having me back there next year! It was a trek for me; had to get up at 5 am to be up in Longview by 11 am, but worth the hump to get there.
