One of the best features of Reaper is the ability to link another DAW to it for editing. I have Adobe Audition linked to it. By simply double-clicking on any wave open in Reaper it will automatically open AA, allow you to do your edit and, when you close the AA edit screen, Reaper will have the new edited version ion palce and ready to resume your multi-track work.

This feature is the main reason I am considering switching to Reaper for Multi track work. Considering the quality of editing tools and investment of time I have put into it, I simply can not walk away from it. Now I have no reason to.
