So nosajwp,

Aren't we good forum members who distracted you from the wait? With the light-hearted banter the time just flew by

The black X20? Nice!

The veneer guitars are sure classy works of art to be certain but the Emerald basic X20 shape is already cutting edge. Even straight black looks cool. I actually really like black guitars though as I've owned 4 since i began playing 30 years ago.

Yep, the black one. Can’t wait!

I normally hate colored guitars...I used to prefer seeing the natural color of the wood. Since this is carbon, I thought to carry the theme forward, I wanted to see the natural color of the carbon so I went with the clear coat black. I like the colored versions too, but since those have tinted finishes to give the color, I was afraid the tint might make it a little harder to see the carbon weave under normal lighting.

I’m assuming it’s arrived by now, how is it?

Hopefully you won't have long to wait for your X20 and I hope you'll be able to post some pictures.
I've tried Emerald guitar with a gloss and satin neck and prefer the satin neck option.
My 2016 X7 and 2017 X20 both have satin necks.

Your gonna love the X20.

Nosajwp;

Did you stock up on Sake?

I think that when an order is made Alistair should immediately ship the orderer a nice bottle of Irish booze. That would help with the wait.
