Talking Burner Guitar #021

Hi all,

It's my first time posting a for sale on AGF, and haven't been very active on the forums, but was recommended that I list my guitar here by my builder. Unfortunately, I'm selling my guitar to support a potential business venture. If you need assurance for seller ratings, my ebay account is Sungmin486.

I used to be very active on talkbass.com and have bought/sold there and you can view my profile there. My ID on talkbass is xkimsungminx and my seller rating is also viewable there if you need.

Guitar Specs:
MS Body Style
Ebony Fingerboard in standard scale length (25.4")
5-Piece Neck
Carpathian Spruce top
African Blackwood back and sides (upgrade)
Florentine cutaway (upgrade)
Manzer wedge body (upgrade)
Sound port on body side (upgrade)
Gotoh 510 tuners
LR Baggs LB6x Pickup
Ameritage Case (upgrade)

Nut spacing: 1.75"
Neck shape: similar to slim profile Taylor neck (per Paul Burner)
Heel: Almond point
String spacing: will provide measurements later when I get home

MS Body Style Measurements:
Upper bout: 12"
Waist: 9.25"
Lower bout: 16"
Body length: 19.875"
Body depth at tail: 4.5 - 4.625"

This guitar was custom made for me by Burner Guitars, and I received the guitar back in 2017. It has probably been played at most about 20 times. I'm primarily a bass player, and bought this guitar thinking I would play more but that hasn't been the case. I don't plan on purchasing a replacement guitar at all, so I won't be interested in any trades.

The guitar for a new custom build with the same specs and with an ameritage case goes around $5,600 + shipping costs (per Paul Burner).

My for sale price is $3,000 (PRICE DROP) + shipping and only to continental US. (PS: If you're located in Socal, willing to travel half way to meet if not too far)

Below are a few pictures of my guitar. The guitar with the cutaway in the set of pictures that have two guitars, is my Burner 021. Please let me know if you need more pictures. Also, if you need sound clips or video recordings, I can record those at request.

There are absolutely no dings or scratches anywhere on this guitar.

PS: Inspiration for my build came from this earlier build, Burner #013, and is essentially a twin of this build .

Ah! Yes, that's correct. Totally forgot to put the model of the guitar, but you're right, it's the MS body.

I'll also update the post.

Many are probably wondering about nut width and saddle spacing

Smile What a cutie!

From Burner website:

MS
Upper bout: 12"
Waist: 9.25"
Lower bout: 16"
Body length: 19.875"
Body depth at tail: 4.5 - 4.625"

Hope this is right for yours. And Fitness is correct. Many here would love to know string spacing, Nut width, and neck shape/carve/feel.

The Manzer Wedge is a Killer upgrade! I wish ALL my guitars had one!!! So comfy...

Best on this. Looks like a sweetheart

Paul

Thank you for pointing those out! Didn't realize there were so many details I probably should have included being that my guitar is a custom build.

I've added the nut width and will get string spacing measurements when I get home.

Where in Socal is this instrument? Do you have any sound bytes?

I have had so many nice guitars that most new options don't tempt me much. This one does... :-)

I am located right at the border of LA County and Orange County. I do not have any sound bytes at the moment, but can record some probably tomorrow. And I don't have any proper recording equipment, so if a video recording using my iPhone will do, then I can send those to you.

I received Burner #15 via trade earlier this year.
The neck is still one of the best feeling i’ve played.
Love the manzer wedge.
Mine is a high quality build. I would be confident buying another.

Default Manzer Wedge body shape!

Still surprised that this is kicking around.
It’s hard to find one with a Manzer wedge.
Even harder to find one at this price point.
