Up for sale is one of the finest mahogany dreadnoughts around, a 2014 Collings D1A. This one features an adirondack-spruce top and one of the loudest voices I’ve ever heard on an acoustic guitar. The authority with which this instrument projects requires no compromises: the highs sparkle and the lows remain tight and even up and down the neck.

• Honduran mahogany neck, back, and sires
• Ebony bridge with bone saddle and 2 3/16” string spacing

Condition: This instrument is in excellent condition. It’s been played, but always treated with the greatest respect. No pickups or extra strap buttons have been installed. And it’s been kept in a humidity-controlled environment. It is in better shape than many of the “new” guitars you’ll find hanging in guitar shops.
