Taylor BTO GS Custom Sinker Redwood/EIR
I bought this guitar in like-new condition 3-1/2 years ago from invguy921 (a.k.a. Woody a.k.a. Mike), with the intent of enjoying and playing the daylights out of it. Sadly, that hasn't come to pass, though I can't say my time has been even remotely ill-spent; as a busy professional with a young child and an energetic dog, days at our house are rarely quiet OR dull! That said, I'm going to take my cue and link to Mike's OP about this guitar; all he says about it is true, and more! The guitar is visually stunning, and plays like a dream; if we sensed chocolate as music, this guitar is how it would sound, I think. My Seagull SWS dreadnought, by comparison, sounds loud, brash and unrestrained, with excess harmonics flying everywhere. Put another way, the Seagull is to the Taylor as Katy Perry is to Dawn Upshaw; both make beautiful music, but the Taylor's sound is hugely more pure and refined.
http://www.acousticguitarforum.com/f...d.php?t=268368 This beauty has remained in its case, in our tightly climate-controlled office and/or guest bedroom, and has scrupulously avoided both child and pet. I paid Mike $2750 for the privilege of owning it, and would like to break even; it has virtually no more playing time on in now than it did when it arrived in our house. I'm happy to send along a fresh set of strings; I currently have DR Sunbeams, Martin Marquis Phosphor Bronze or Silk & Steel, Elixir Nanowebs and John Pearse Phosphor Bronze strings. I'll look to see what gauges I have, and what would best suit this beautiful instrument. $2750 shipped/insured ($5000), or best reasonable offer. Thanks for looking!

A tough audience, I see. Bump for the weekend shoppers. Stay warm and safe, wherever you are; sounds like Ol' Man Winter is winding himself up for a right hard blow.

This is truly a gorgeous guitar that I sold some time ago. The guitar is really good. If I didn't already own two guitars with Sinker Redwood, I'd snatch this one back from her.
Someone needs to take a hard look at this one. Great guitar for the money! Michele is a sweetheart of a lady and easy to work with. Buy with confidence!

If it had a 1.75 nut width I would have snapped this up. Rats.

If I weren't eye-balling a new Breedlove Masterclass dread, I'd be all over this!

Sggarrard (Gary)--I've just sent you a PM with my email address--if you're still interested in the guitar, please contact me via that channel once you receive it. I've not heard back from you since I replied to your last PM, so I don't know if the delay in PMs arriving is ongoing or not.

Man if this had a 1-3/4" nut, I'd be scheming to come up with the cash...
