Yep, I like a beer or two (no more) before I play in front of others just to take the edge off (I get very nervous) and I love to practice and play at home next to a Coopers Sparkling Ale or a glass of Shiraz or Malbec.

Reminds me of the time I was opening for Duke Robillard with a blues band. It was a one hour set and the singer walks on stage as we are going on with a bar tray with what looked like a dozen shots of tequila. I did the math and figured we'd be off stage before all that booze would hit him. I never saw him after the show.
