But it looks like I was wrong - the Avalon is available again. Hmm.

Almost, but by the time you add shipping to that asking price you're in pretty close to new price territory, so for a few hundred more you can get new with warranty.

I've been delayed. I was supposed to go get mine on Wednesday. Then I pushed back to Thursday because of weather. Now I have another issue and have to push back to next Wednesday.
