Perhaps I'm misinterpreting. Is this available in more than 1 body size/shape?
Yes, the WA May is available in 3 different body styles.

Steve
I believe that headstock is a repro of a 50's/60's Maton Starline electric model.

The headstock design is mentioned in the description;

Bills signature 3 layered deco style headstock sits atop this model proudly as it did on Bills very first Maton guitar (still in the Maton Museum 70 years on)

Don't worry, they have a new CS Grand (pictured below) I'll try if the WA Mat 'T' falls short of expectations.
A little plain looking but I'll give it a try.
Did you manage to give a try? 🤔

I think all the weight from the electronics box must deaden the sound, my non electric 808 custom sounds fantastic and certainly competes with any of my 00 guitars. I see individuals comparing them to guitars 2x the size and complaining, well, its a 00 size so yo uwont ever compete with anything much larger. . I'll bet if I put a 1/4lb eq/amp box , battery and some electronics through my 00-18V it would sound awful. i had a beautiful 000-28VS with Italian Alpine top and one heck of a pickup system in it , it was so nice and intrusve and sounded amazing amplified, it ruined the acoustic sound and it sounded quite dead. I have also played many 28 series martin with what I would call intrusive pickup systems and they simply cannot compare to the pure acoustic counterpart. I suggest when comparing acoustic sound of a Maton that you remove the plastic muffler first and then have a listen.
