The D28, the guitar that all Dreads are compared to and this Authentic version is arguably one of the best Martin has made. Powerful and Sweet, classic Martin sound that is very balanced, great bass, midrange and trebles in excellent condition, original owner. Serial number 1935536 built in 2015. Wide grain Adirondack top(Martin Vintage Tone System - VTS), Madagascar Rosewood back and sides, Hide glue construction, Waverly tuners, authentic rearward shifted X bracing, 1 11/16th" nut, an absolute classic beauty in sight and sound. Has some light usage marks that can be seen if held in the right light, a small ding shown in one of the pictures about size of a pin head on the lower bout where your arm is when playing and some marks on lower side of neck(happened when brought in for tune up) that is there but hardly notice, otherwise in excellent shape. Spent most of it's life with me in humidified, non smoking room. I love this guitar, it is well balanced and smooth sounding, have gone back and forth between selling/trading and keeping it, but have finally come to the realization that I need a wider nut, thus am selling to finance another guitar with a nut that is better suited to me. After some soul searching, have decided to put back on the market. Love this guitar, tried to make the nut work, but just a hair too small for me, this will be one I regret selling because it sounds amazing.
