Default Blue Ridge guitars - Neck Reset?

Hi, a friend of mine has lent me his small body 12 fret Blueridge BR-341 so that I can make another of my informational videos. The neck is straight (ish) really needs a neck reset.

I note that there is a considerable mahogany neck extension UNDERNEATH the top going as far as the upper bout cross strut.

Question: Can these guitars economically be reset? Anybody have experience of doing it?

Thanks in advance.

I have. It's a normal dovetail reset. The only issue is that the body and neck are finished together, and requires touchup when the neck is removed. The one I did (BR 160) was finished in catalyzed polyester.
